Clea and her professional ice skating cousin Anna decide to take a two week break from their intense rehearsal and practice schedules. After three days of debating about where to go, a commercial free showing of Rex Harrison's classic musical Dr. Doolittle on the Sunday Night Movies inspires the girls decision making. They roll Papa's giant globe out of his studio and into the living room. Hyper from a double serving of orange soda and pizza the girls spin the globe and sing along with Dr. Doolittle when he tells his shipmates how they are going to look for the Giant Pink Snail.. At the end of the song,Clea and Anna plunge their dart into the globe and eagerly await the outcome of their new destination.
"Jamaica!" screams Clea jumping up and down.
Anna flops back onto the couch with dismay.
"Get happy, girlfriend." says Clea with a mock Jamaican accent. "We be sunnin'' soon."
Anna sighs. Clea flops down beside her. "wha's up?"
"Do you think they have ice rinks in Jamaica?"
