Story Line: Clea's beloved Papa and best friend DeeDee conspire to hold a surprise birthday party for Clea at a skating rink in Lake Arrowhead. But, they make the mistake of letting Clea drive the Jeep up the mountain. Despite their back seat driving, Clea insists on taking the longer scenic route. An exasperated Papa finally tricks Clea into stopping for a brief snowball fight. During the fun and games, he hides her keys and, ignoring her protests, insists on driving.
Even with Papa at the wheel, the trio arrive two hours late. The public skating session is over, and the guests are patiently waiting outside for the birthday girl to arrive. Clea is overwhelmed with guilt when she realizes she's late for her own party. But Papa and DeeDee have one more surprise left. The guests part, and Clea British beau James Winslow sounders towards her with skates thrown over his shoulders and a smirk on his face. DeeDee nudges her. "How do you like your Birthday surprise?' Clea tries to play coy but can't hold back her giggles. They embrace, and Clea makes the formal introductions. Luckily, Papa has connections with the rink owner, and they are able to rent the ice for half an hour before continuing the festivities at a nearby resort.

Clea looks like a leading lady when she attends the annual summer Alfred Hitchcock film festival at the historical "Rialto" movie theater in South Pasadena.
Black and white Polk-a-dot dress comes with white hat and belt and black and white slip ons.
Tropical print dress comes with tan hat, green belt and tan lace up wedges.
Bogie, herself, has sewn Clea's costume and hand finished the make-up on the dolls. Doll has new improved matte finish. (Some parts were production, such as shoes hat and jewelry.)
