Stressed out from auditions, Clea and her Papa travel up the coast to British Columbia to visit DeeDee on the Queen Charlotte Islands. The two are immediately mesmerized by the towering totem poles that dot the landscape. DeeDee welcomes her American guests to the Hunt family cabin retreat. Inside the large open rooms are decorated with carved posts. Striking black and white photos on the walls celebrate life on the island, both past and present. And the large windows open to a spectacular view of the dense forest and babbling brook outside. Like giggling sisters, Clea and DeeDee sink into an oversized leather couch and ponder all the lazy things they plan to do over the next few days while the Papas debate the best bait for catching fish.
